TIPS ON HOW TO USE THIS VIDEO:
Always look to create curiosity even before showing the video. Ask your team to look or listen for something that is in the video. Then afterward debrief it by asking people to give the answers to what they heard or saw.
Before showing the video, I suggest asking your crew to give you tips for safety lifting. Write or type the answers on a screen or whiteboard. If none is available, no worries, just have the guys mention tips.
After you show the video, ask what they learned or what stood out to them. Tie back their answers to the video. See what they mentioned that the video didn’t. These simple questions often yield great comments and participation when I do training. Also, be prepared to make your final comments regarding what stood out to you and how you can apply lessons learned from this video to your work environment.
